74LS573 DIP-20 Octal D-Type Transparent Latch IC (3-State Outputs, TTL, 5V)
Description -
The 74LS573 DIP is a TTL logic integrated circuit that functions as an octal transparent D-type latch in a 20-pin Dual Inline Package (DIP). It belongs to the 74LS Low Power Schottky logic family and is designed for data storage, buffering, and bus interfacing in digital systems.
The device contains eight transparent D-type latches with 3-state outputs. While the Latch Enable (LE) input is HIGH, input data passes directly to the outputs. When LE goes LOW, the current data is latched and retained. The active LOW Output Enable (OE) input allows the outputs to enter a high-impedance state, making the 74LS573 ideal for microprocessor systems, memory interfacing, and shared data buses.
