TCRT5000 Reflective IR Sensor (TCRT5000 Optical Sensor)
The TCRT5000 Reflective IR Sensor is a compact optical sensor designed for non contact object detection using reflected infrared light. It integrates an infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor in a single package, both aligned in the same direction to detect reflected IR signals from nearby objects.
It works by emitting IR light continuously and measuring the intensity of the reflected light. When an object is present, the reflected IR is detected by the phototransistor, resulting in a change in output signal.
