3-Way Infrared Line Tracking Sensor Module
The 3-Way Infrared Line Tracking Sensor
Module is a compact optical sensing board designed to detect contrast differences on surfaces for line following applications in robotics and automation. It integrates three infrared emitter-receiver pairs arranged in a row to sense dark lines on lighter backgrounds (and vice-versa). Each channel provides a digital output signal indicating line detection, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP, PIC, and others.
This module is ideal for small line-following robots, maze solvers, autonomous vehicles, and educational projects requiring real-time path detection. Its simple interface and adjustable potentiometers (on many variants) help refine sensitivity for different surface conditions.
