Working Principle -
The MOC7811 operates using an infrared emitter and receiver placed facing each other inside a slot. When no object is present IR light reaches the receiver and the output remains in one state. When an object interrupts the IR beam the light is blocked and the output changes state. This transition is used for detecting position speed and movement in electronic systems.
