MQ-4 Gas Methane CNG Detector Sensor Module (Natural Gas Leakage Detection Sensor)
The MQ-4 Gas Methane CNG Detector Sensor Module is a semiconductor gas sensing module designed to detect methane (CH₄), compressed natural gas (CNG), and natural gas leakage in the surrounding environment. It provides both analog and digital outputs, allowing continuous gas concentration monitoring as well as threshold-based leak detection. Featuring an onboard LM393 comparator and adjustable sensitivity potentiometer, the module interfaces easily with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms. It is widely used in gas leakage alarms, industrial safety systems, smart homes, and environmental monitoring applications.
