The MQ-4 Methane CNG Gas Sensor Module is a semiconductor gas detection module designed to detect methane (CH4) and compressed natural gas (CNG) in the surrounding environment. It provides both analog and digital outputs, enabling continuous gas concentration monitoring as well as threshold-based gas leakage detection. The module features an onboard comparator with an adjustable sensitivity potentiometer, making it easy to interface with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms. It is ideal for gas leakage alarms, industrial safety systems, smart homes, environmental monitoring, and embedded gas detection applications.
