The AS608 Optical Fingerprint Sensor Module is a compact and reliable biometric authentication device designed for secure access control and identity verification systems. It uses optical fingerprint sensing technology to capture high resolution fingerprint images for accurate matching and identification.
The module features a built in DSP processor and onboard flash memory for storing fingerprint templates. It supports serial UART communication allowing easy integration with Arduino ESP32 STM32 and other microcontroller based systems. The AS608 can perform fingerprint enrollment matching and search operations internally reducing the load on the main controller.
