Nova SDS011 High Precision Laser Dust Sensor
The Nova SDS011 is a high precision laser based air quality sensor designed to measure particulate matter concentration in the air. It detects fine dust particles such as PM2.5 and PM10 using the laser light scattering principle, providing accurate measurement of airborne particles suspended in the air.
The sensor includes an internal fan that continuously draws air into the sensing chamber where particles scatter a laser beam. The scattered light is analyzed to calculate particle concentration, and the module outputs data through UART or PWM interfaces for easy integration with microcontrollers and air quality monitoring systems.
