The R305 Fingerprint Biometric Sensor is a compact and reliable fingerprint recognition module designed for secure access control and identity verification systems. It integrates an optical fingerprint sensor high speed DSP processor and onboard flash memory for fingerprint template storage.

The module supports serial UART communication allowing easy interfacing with microcontrollers such as Arduino ESP32 STM32 and other embedded platforms. It can perform fingerprint enrollment matching and searching directly within the module reducing the processing load on the main controller.
